On the afternoon of March 21, the strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Henan University and Aston University, UK, was held in the conference room of the International Affairs Office at the Minglun Campus. Vice President Shenglei Fu of Henan University and Matt Dean, International Executive Director of Aston University, attended the signing ceremony. Also present were relevant officials from the International Affairs Office, the Miami College, and other units.

Shenglei Fu first extended a warm welcome to Matt Dean and his delegation and introduced the history and development of Henan University. He expressed his hope that on the basis of signing the strategic cooperation agreement, the two universities would be able to carry out all-round cooperation and exchanges in international talent training, academic research cooperation, and teacher and student exchange visits, and other aspects, continuously enhancing the international influence of both universities.

Matt Dean introduced the university's profile in terms of its development history, advantageous disciplines, and Sino-British culture. He said that the two universities have a lot in common. He stated that the two universities share many similarities in their educational philosophy and development ideas, making them ideal international cooperation partners. He hoped that both universities could give full play to their respective strengths to achieve regular cooperation and exchanges, diversified cooperation models, and long-term cooperation results.
