On November 20, the 2022 National Postdoctoral Research Competition organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Henan won two bronze medals, one of which was given to the research group led by Tianhua Sun from the Engineering Research Center for Nanomaterials.

The Competition is to evaluate 256 technological breakthroughs and 51 transformation projects of scientific research achievements in 9 fields, including new generation information technology, biomedicine and general health. It picked out 4 projects of golden medals, 12 projects of silver medals and 24 projects of bronze medals, and rewarded excellent projects.

In recent years, by implementing the strategy of strengthening the country with talents and innovation-driven development in the new era, Henan University has made overall progress in promoting the high-quality development of postdoctoral work, developing a strong workforce for the "Double First-Class" construction of Henan University.
