On the morning of September 9, the donation ceremony of the Shaolin Cultural Inspirational Fund was held by the Wushu College at the Zhengzhou Campus of Henan University (HENU). The donation ceremony was chaired by Bo LIU, secretary general of the HENU Education Development Foundation.

The ceremony was attended by donors - Shijun ZHANG, former secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Henan Province, and Guochen ZHANG, dean of the China Shaolin Culture Research Institute of HENU. It also invited guests including Keping LU, the secretary of the Party Committee of HENU and chairman of the Foundation, Shaokang XU, vice president of HENU and vice chairman of the Foundation, and Hao HONG, dean of Wushu College of HENU.

As a professor who serves as a master tutor and the dean of the Chinese Shaolin Culture Research Institute of HENU, Guochen ZHANG founded Shaolin Cultural Inspirational Fund and donated a total of 600,000 yuan. He also encouraged Haike LIU, the secretary of Tagou Martial Art School, Shaozong LIANG, president of the Epo Martial Art School, and Yuyang WEI, general manager of Henan Yuguang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to make donations along with him. So far, a total of 1.35 million yuan was raised.

At the ceremony, Hao HONG accepted the donation on behalf of the College, and Keping LU presented the donation certificates and awards to the donors.
