The 24^th National Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition (Final), hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, has just come to an end recently.

The team from the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture - Zhuang Xia, Leyu Han and Kewei Wang - joined in the final with the guidance of the Professor Wenfeng Du. They entered the national competition with the first prize of the provincial competition and won the first prize in the national competition with their work “intelligent design based on deep learning and topology optimization”.

The National Robot and Artificial Intelligence Competition is a national discipline competition with a long history and extensive influence. It has been included in the list of the 2020 National College Subject Competition Ranking and 2021 National College Student Competition Analysis Report issued by China Association of Higher Education, with the ratio of prize set at 30%.
