On August 5, the first session of Exploration - Master Lecture series - was officially launched. The session invited Paul S. Weiss, a famous nanobiologist, the founding editor of ACS Nano and chair professor at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), as the guest speaker to give reports.

Held online, the lecture was delivered by Xuelu Wang, vice president of Henan University and Xingjie Liang, editor-in-chief of Exploration, and was presided over by Yang Bing, executive editor-in-chief of Exploration.

In the lecture, Professor Paul S. Weiss shared his opinions on the cross-sectional research of nanotechnology in biology and medicine, and gave answers to problems raised by audience about nano-drug delivery, cultivation of scientific and technological talents, and career planning for young scientists.

The conference was live broadcast online through KouShare, attracting more than 3,000 viewers.
