The 11^th National Mathematical Culture Forum was held in Henan University from July 29 to August 1. This was hosted by the Chinese Mathematical Society (CMS) and co-organized by the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Henan University, the Center for Applied Mathematics of Henan Province (Henan University), and the Mathematics Institute of Henan Academy of Sciences.

On the morning of July 30, the opening ceremony welcomed the attendance of Academician Gang Tian, Chairman of the CMS, Academician Yaxiang Yuan, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Xinhui Wang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Henan Association for Science and Technology, Chunxiang Luo, Vice President of the Henan Academy of Sciences, Research Fellow Aihui Zhou, Vice Chairman of the CMS, Professor Jianya Liu, Vice President of Shandong University, Professor Keping Lu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Henan University and Chairman of the Henan Mathematical Society, and Professor Shuxia Feng, Vice President of Henan University, as well as nearly 300 experts and scholars from more than 100 universities, research institutes and middle schools across the country. Fuzhou Gong, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the CMS, presided over the opening ceremony.

The two-day forum is abundant with academic reports made by Academician Gang Tian and Academician Yaxiang Yuan, Professor Tianxin Cai from Zhejiang University, Professor Zexian Cao from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professors Chunwei Song and Jie Wang from Peking University, Professor Zhiwei Sun from Nanjing University, Professor Yao Wang from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, Professor Zhizheng Zhang from Luoyang Normal University, Professor Zhiping Zhang and Associate Professor Yuhuan Zhang from Henan University.

Additionally, Academician Gang Tian visited the School of Mathematics and Statistics of our university and gave a thematic report on "K-stability". Academician Yaxiang Yuan visited the Affiliated High School of Henan University and gave a publicity and education lecture on "Funny Mathematics".
