On the morning of June 26th, the opening ceremony of the 4th International Forum of Henan University for Outstanding Postdoctoral Young Scholars was held in Jinming Campus. The 2-day forum has 22 sub-forums, attracting more than 200 young scholars from well-known universities at home and abroad to attend the forum online and offline.

Vice President YANG Zhonghua said at the ceremony that adhering to the ideology that talents play a pivotal role in a country’s prosperity, we cultivate our staff by implementing four talent projects and establish favorable policies and an innovative and development-friendly environment. “Young scholars both at home and abroad are welcomed to Henan University”, he added.

WU Jianwei, Director of Human Resources Department, introduced the talent policies of Henan Province and Henan University.

MIAO Changhong, Director of Key Research Institute of Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development, gave a speech centering on the history of the institute and the experience in cultivating young teachers.

Professor Makram EL-SHAGI from the School of Economics shared his experience of knowing and joining Henan University as a researcher.

As a high-level platform for the intercourse of young scholars and the exhibiting of academic achievements, the International Forum for Outstanding Young Scholars promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and research by academic symposiums and bridges young scholars with related colleges, disciplines, and teachers through talents recruitment fairs.
