March 31 morning, the opening ceremony of Educator Academy was held in Henan University, during which the seminar themed “Joint and Effective Development of Teacher Education in Central Henan Province” was organized. Mao Jie, Deputy Director of the Education Department of Henan Province, Liu Zhijun, Vice President of HENU and head of Educator Academy and other representatives attended the ceremony.

Liu Zhijun said: “Educator Academy will make full use of the resources of the School of Educational Sciences of HENU, promote the growth and improvement of excellent teachers in our province, and cultivate educators with thoughts and personality. Henan University will give full support to the work of Educator Academy and make contributions to the cultivation of the Central-Plains-Style teachers and principals.”

Mao Jie expressed her hope that the academy is going to serve as a platform for the cultivation of excellent teachers' educational ideas and the innovation of educational ideas in the whole province.  

Attributed to the reform of teacher education in HENU, the establishment of the Educator Academy opens up opportunities for excellent lecturers to train normal students and promote personal influence, contributing to the development of education in Henan Province.
