On April 5th, Dan Bin, an alumnus of HENU and chairman of Shenzhen Oriental Harbour Investment Management Co., Ltd., donated 16 million yuan to HENU, and set up HENU & Oriental Harbour Construction and Development Fund for the construction of Sakura Avenue and landscape stones in Zhengzhou campus, reconstruction of the landscaping scene of Iron Tower Lake in Minglun campus, and construction of Rose Garden Gymnasium in Minglun campus.

Lu Keping, the Party Secretary of CPC of HENU, expressed that HENU will management and operate the donated funds well to maximize its value to benefit more people.

Dan Bin hoped that, the donation will help to beautify the campus environment, and he will be able to continue to support the development of his Alma Mater in the future.
