HENU Delegation Conducts Exchange Visit to the CSCSE

On June 25, Zhang Ligang, Vice President of Henan University (HENU), led a delegation to pay an exchange visit to the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE). Xia Jianhui, Deputy Director of the CSCSE, and heads of relevant business departments attended the symposium.

Xia Jianhui extended a warm welcome to Zhang Ligang and his delegation, and briefly introduced the CSCSE’s five major functions, including its full-process overseas study service system and international students studying in China. He expressed his aspiration to carry out all-round cooperation with universities through more scientific, rigorous, and professional approaches.

Zhang Ligang presented HENUs profile and internationalization progress. On behalf of HENU, he conveyed intentions for strategic collaboration with the CSCSE, proposing to leverage the CSCSE’s platforms to deepen and diversify HENUs initiatives in international talent cultivation, international students studying in China, and overseas campus development. He further noted that this would strengthen HENU’s educational internationalization and its capacity to support national strategies, thereby contributing fresh efforts to China’s opening-up in education.

At the meeting, Li Qiuye, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office, reported on the progress of HENU’s Sino-foreign cooperative education and international student programs. Both parties held in-depth discussions on a number of specific cooperation projects and reached important consensus, laying a foundation for future cooperation.

Heads of departments including the International Affairs Office and the International School of Technology of HENU participated in this event.
