On May 28, the unveiling ceremony of HENU-Kunpeng & Ascend Industry-Education Integration Education Base was held in Dongguan. The ceremony was attended by Shuxia Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Henan University (HENU) accompanied by representatives from the Academic Affairs Office, the Graduate School, the Information Management Office and relevant colleges. The ceremony also invited Chao Chen, Vice President of Huawei Kunpeng Intelligent Computing, and Meifang Cui, Deputy Director of Huawei Kunpeng Ecosystem Development Department.

At the ceremony, Shuzheng Zhang, an expert in Huawei education industry solution, introduced the systemic planning and development for Huawei's exploration of new digital education mechanisms, and Huawei’s measures to help implement digital transformation practices in the education industry.

Shuxia Feng introduced the School of Information of HENU and indicated that the two sides could achieve cooperation in many fields, such as education bases, curriculum cooperation, and discipline competitions.

It is reported that the Kunpeng & Ascend Industry-Education Integration Education Base is part of Huawei's effort to cooperate with provincial key universities and universities established jointly by provincial government and the Ministry of Education of China. It aims to help partner universities to achieve structural reforms of curriculums, teaching resource systems and teacher training methods, and to provide high-quality professionals for the national computing industry.
