On the morning of June 6, the 2023 Graduation Ceremony & Conferral of Degrees was held at Minglun Campus. The ceremony honorably saw the attendance of leaders of HENU, heads of various functional departments and undergraduate teaching units of HENU, as well as representatives of tutors and representatives of university graduates in 2023. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Tan Zhen.

At the ceremony, Shuxia Feng, vice chairman of the Degree Evaluation Committee, announced the Decision of HENU on Commending Outstanding Fresh Graduates in 2023 and Decision of HENU on Awarding Bachelor's Degrees to University Graduates.

Then all graduates received their the bachelor's degree certificates from President Suojiang Zhang.

At the ceremony, Junche He, a graduate of the School of Philosophy and Public Management, as a representative of graduates, summed up his achievements in the four years at HENU. He expressed that students at HENU should nurture enthusiasm and foster self-improvement mentality in this new era.

Jingyang Niu, a teacher representative and distinguished professor of Henan Province, encouraged the students to be down-to-earth in their pursuit of dreams and to dare to think and do, becoming the one that shoulders heavy responsibilities in socialist modernization in the new era.

At the end of the ceremony, Keping Lu, secretary of the Party Committee of the University, gave a speech entitled ‘Carrying forward the spirit of HENU and achieving a brilliant life’. He expressed his wishes that the students should adhere to their ideals and beliefs, cultivate the affection for their family and country, meet difficulties head-on and foster determination to achieve a brilliant life.
