On the morning of April 24, the Fine Arts Exhibition by Fine Arts College Alumni started in the lobby of the Fine Arts College. The opening ceremony was attended by experts and scholars from universities in Henan, leaders of the Henan Artists Association, heads of the Kaifeng Artists Association, leaders of the Kaifeng Art Museum, as well as leaders and experts of Henan University. The ceremony was presided over by Jiangtao Yang, secretary of the Party Committee of the Fine Arts College.

Vice President Junjian Sun expressed heartfelt thanks to the experts and alumni who have long been concerned about and supported the development of Henan University (HENU).

Later, speeches were given by Bingyi Xie, former president of Henan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Jianguo Hua, former director of Henan Art Museum, and Wenli Chen, vice chairman of Henan Provincial Artists Association. They reviewed the experiences at their alma mater, expressed their gratitude to HENU, and wished that the Fine Arts College would cultivate more talents and promote the development of fine arts in Central China.  

Weiquan Xi, dean of the Fine Arts College, expressed his gratitude to all leaders and experts for their guidance and support.

After that, Jiangtao Yang announced the start of the Exhibition.
