On the morning of April 19, the Conference on HENU - BSU Cooperative Program was held at Minglun Campus. The meeting was attended by representatives from Henan University (HENU), including Bo Ji, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, as well as responsible personnel from the International Affairs Office, the International School for Chinese Language and Culture, the School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Physics and Electronics, the School of Software, and the Eurasian International School. Representatives from Belarusian State University (BSU) attending the meeting included Konstantin V. Kozadaev, deputy rector for Teaching and International Exchange, as well as person in charge from the School of Journalism, the School of Physics, and the China-Belarus Media Center.
At the Conference, Bo Ji expressed the hope that both universities could further the joint training of postgraduates, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, advance the international joint program and promote the construction of high-end international research platforms based on the existing cooperation.
Konstantin V. Kozadaev expressed his wish that teachers and students of HENU could visit BSU for exchanges and that higher level cooperation in more disciplines would be conducted between the two universities.
After that, the representatives of both sides discussed how to further expand cooperation regarding the cooperative program for undergraduates. They conducted in-depth discussions on carrying out mutual visits of teachers and students between the two universities, promoting the double degree program and joint training of postgraduates, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, and jointly building a high-level scientific research and academic platform.
