On April 20, "Life of Earth" - 4.22 Earth Day Event kicks off at Jinming Campus, Henan University (HENU). The Event invited Vice President Shenglei Fu, responsible personnel from the Publicity Department, the Graduate School, the Student Affairs Office, the University Youth League Committee, and the College of Geography and Environmental Science, as well as all students at the College of Geography and Environment Science to join in. Some primary school students also attended this activity.

Shenglei Fu pointed out that it is the duty of young generation to promote green development and seek harmonious coexistence between man and nature to build a beautiful China. Students of HENU should fully and accurately implement the new development concept in a comprehensive way, and resolutely shoulder the major task of ecological civilization construction.  

As a brand program of HENU, "Life of Earth" - 4.22 Earth Day Event has been held for 32 years so far. The activity has won the second prize of the Outstanding Achievements of National College Campus Cultural Construction. The Event offers cultural performances, interesting science popularization and other activities, aiming at spreading the awareness of environmental protection.
