On the morning of April 13, Jialin Cai, director of the Department of Cross-Strait Cooperation of Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, China, visited HENU along with his entourage. They met with Peng Wang and Nan Chen, deputy directors of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, at Minglun Campus.
Peng Wang expressed a warm welcome to Jialin Cai and his entourage. She introduced the University's recent achievements on promoting the “Double First-Class” Construction.
Jialin Cai pointed out that the two universities have formed a good foundation for cooperation over the years. It is hoped that both sides would work in unity to build a platform for teachers and students from the two universities to exchange and establish new exchange and cooperation models to further the cross-strait higher education cooperation.
Then, Nan Chen reviewed the deep friendship between the two universities since the establishment of relations in 2009. It is hoped that both sides could further strengthen exchanges and mutual visits, expand the fields of cooperation and deepen the cooperation to contribute to cross-strait educational exchanges.
Later, Yawei Ye introduced the exchange programs of Chinese Culture University, such as the short-term study programs, themed workshop courses and summer camp events.
At the meeting, the two universities conducted discussions on the cooperation in summer training programs, postgraduate training programs, and teacher training programs.
