On the evening of February 6^th, the China Women's National Football Team won the AFC Asian Cup by defeating the South Korean team 3:2 in the final of AFC Asian Cup Competition held in Mumbai, India. It has been 16 years for the national team since last wining.

In the final, Jiahui LOU, a graduate of the School of Physical Education and Sport of Henan University, was picked in the starting lineup.

Jiahui LOU was admitted to a Bachelor's program in sports training at Henan University in 2011. After achieving her bachelor's degree in 2015, she honorably received receive an unconditional offer for the master's program in physical education and training in Henan University. During her studies, she was selected to join in the women's 5-a-side football match for 3 consecutive years, during which her teams always reached the top 4 nationwide.

Jiahui LOU and other Chinese women's football players, as soon as the AFC Asian Cup Competition came to an end, were embraced with congratulations from teachers and students from her alma matar - Henan University.

Dachao ZHANG, dean of the School of Physical Education and Sport, said: "Jiahui LOU was a diligent student, always attentively learning lectures, earnestly finishing assignments and zestfully training herself and competing for the University, Henan Province and even the country. On top of that, her remarkable problem-solving ability doubtlessly proves her quality as a national player."

Zongyue ZHAO, Jiahui LOU's postgraduate tutor, said: "She is the one who would never rest on her laurels and persistently improving her academic capability, which was translatable to her successful graduation. I am more than proud of tutoring such an outstanding student."

Jiahui LOU upon looking back her days in Henan University was deeply touched, "I was very fortunate to meet these good teachers and friends who gave me great help and care, allowing me to enjoy such a wonderful campus life. I very much appreciate them!"
