On a voluntary and free-of-charge basis, HENU has been actively carrying out the COVID-19 vaccine inoculation since March 28. Sun Junjian, vice president of HENU, inspected to the COVID-19 vaccination point at the School Hospital and he was the first HENU staff to be vaccinated.

On March 23, a working group on COVID-19 vaccination services was established by the School Hospital of HENU and Kaifeng Shunhe District Health Committee. The working group held a meeting to discuss the arrangement of COVID-19 vaccine inoculation service, releasing notifications, publicizing relevant policies, soliciting opinions, personnel training and organization, site preparation, material allocation as well as observation and follow-up after vaccination.

Students enthusiastically signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination. By noon on the 28^th, nearly 1,000 students had been vaccinated.
