
At the finals of the 3rd China Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition, which concluded on October 28 in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, the postdoctoral teams from Henan University (HENU) achieved new breakthroughs, securing one Gold Award, one Bronze Award, and one Excellence Award.
The postdoctoral team led by TIAN Qingfeng from the School of Energy Science and Technology won the Gold Award in the New Materials and Petrochemical category with their project “Water-Based Wet Mixing Technology”. This achievement, which ranked first, marked HENU’s first gold medal in this competition. ZHANG Fei’s team from the School of Flexible Electronics earned the Bronze Award in the Innovation Group with their project “Flexible Scintillator Screen”, while ZHANG Lijie’s team from the Antibody Drug Laboratory received the Excellence Award in the Entrepreneurship Group for their research on functional antibodies.
The competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the People’s Government of Fujian Province. It attracted over 8,000 postdoctoral projects and approximately 36,000 participants from across the country, with more than 1,700 projects advancing to the finals.
