On the afternoon of April 19, Rector Kozhobekov Kudayberdi Gaparalievich and his delegation from Osh State University, Kyrgyzstan, visited HENU. Shenglei Fu, Vice President of Henan University HENU, met with the guests at Zhengzhou Campus. Officials from the International Affairs Office, the International School for Chinese Language and Culture and other relevant units also attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Jianzhong Liang, General Party Branch Secretary of the International School for Chinese Language and Culture.

At the beginning of the meeting, attendees watched an introductory video of Henan University. Shenglei Fu extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced the basic situation of Henan University. He noted that Osh State University is the Global Model Confucius Institute and the China–Kyrgyzstan Cultural Exchange Center in Kyrgyzstan has made positive contributions to educational exchanges and international cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan. The visit of Rector Kozhobekov Kudayberdi Gaparalievich not only promoted exchanges and cooperation between the two universities but also injected new vitality into the common development of education between China and Kyrgyzstan.

Rector Kozhobekov Kudayberdi Gaparalievich briefly introduced the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and the Confucius Institute at Osh State University. He stated that in response to the "Belt and Road" initiative, Osh State University has established the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and the Confucius Institute, offering majors like Chinese language and literature, Chinese studies, and translation studies. In the past decade, Osh State University has trained nearly 300 outstanding talents proficient in Chinese language. In future cooperation, he hoped to strengthen academic exchanges between the two universities and promote teacher and student visits.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the details of future cooperation, signed a memorandum of cooperation, and reached preliminary cooperation intentions.

After the meeting, they visited the Henan Industrial Technology Academy of Spatio-Temporal Big Data and the Henan Dabieshan National Field Observation & Research Station of Forest Ecosystem to gain insights into its construction and research achievements.
