On the afternoon of December 7, HENU held a video conference with the Real Madrid Graduate School of the European University of Madrid to discuss cooperation on sports discipline. The Conference was attended by Shenglei Fu, vice president of HENU; Jin Shang, deputy director of the International Affairs Office; Ke Zhou, dean of the School of Physical Education and Sport; Liqun Mao, dean of the Eurasia International School; Emilio Butragueno, director of the Department of Public Relations of Real Madrid CF and dean of the Real Madrid Graduate School; Ricardo Gallego Redondo, the Real Madrid Ambassador and director of Real Madrid Foundation,Asia-Pacific; and Maria Luisa, president of the European University of Madrid. The Conference was presided over by Liqun Mao.
At the meeting, Shenglei Fu expressed his gratitude to the Real Madrid Graduate School for its warm reception during his visit to Spain in November. He affirmed the achievements made by the Real Madrid Graduate School in cultivating sports talents and hoped that the two universities could make the most use of their advantages to reach close cooperation.
Jin Shang briefly introduced the history, current situation and development plans of HENU. Ke Zhou introduced the School of Physical Education and Sport and the International Soccer Academy in terms of the teaching staff, training programs for undergraduates, masters and doctoral students, and international cooperation.
Emilio Butragueno introduced the Real Madrid Graduate School in detail from the history, majors, and foreign cooperation programs. He then expressed his wish to work with HENU.
During the meeting, the two parties had a preliminary exchange of views on joint training of high-level talents, teacher exchange, student exchange, and scientific research and cooperation and reached an agreement on the next work plan.
