From December 7 to 9, the 2023 World Chinese Language Conference was held in Beijing. A group of 17 people from HENU attended the Conference, including Shenglei Fu, vice president of Henan University (HENU), Zhen Tan, a professor of HENU and vice chairman of the Smart Education of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching, and representatives of teachers and students from the International School for Chinese Language and Culture.

At the meeting, Shenglei Fu received the medal of Chinese Plus Digital Education Gold Partner on behalf of HENU. He indicated that the medal meant that the international Chinese education at HENU has been recognized in the development of digital education. He promised that HENU would strengthen communication and exchanges with Chinese Plus and other related institutions to help international students in China learn Chinese more flexibly, find international Chinese teaching resources, and achieve the best development of international Chinese teaching at HENU.

As a special guest, Zhen Tan attended the opening ceremony of the Global Chinese Plus Conference & Launching Ceremony of Language Exhibition and delivered a speech. She pointed out that HENU would continue to promote the high-quality development of international Chinese education, serve the world with Chinese, and lead the future with opening up and innovation.

During the Conference, Shenglei Fu and his delegation conducted in-depth discussions with experts and scholars on issues related to international Chinese education.
