On January 5, Zhen Tan, vice president of Henan University, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yiming Chen, deputy general manager of China Energy Henan Power Co., Ltd. on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, the two parties will work in line with national strategies of rural revitalization towards achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and deepen school-enterprise cooperations, research and development and result incubation. Both parties will promote the establishment of the industry-university-research platform and the clean and low-carbon energy system and work together for a win-win cooperation pattern for integrating advantages and resource sharing.
At the signing ceremony, Keping Lu, secretary of the Party Committee of Henan University, delivered a speech to express his gratitude to China Energy Henan Power Co., Ltd. and SPIC Central China Institute for Smart Energy Research (National Rural Clean Energy Innovation Center) for their trust and support. He wished that both parties could further cooperate in the utilization of policy, technology, information, and human resources, to optimize the mechanism for the incubation and transformation of innovation achievements and create a “technology + capital” model for the cultivation of specialized and special new enterprises.
Hanzhong Wang, chairman of China Energy Henan Power Co., Ltd., pointed out that the Company attached great importance to the high-quality development of "one institute, one center" and the cooperation with first-class universities like Henan University. He indicated that the Company would put forward strategic plans for deepening cooperation with universities and local government, working to be a national center for rural clean energy and promoting the joint training of talents and the transformation of innovative achievements.
