The 8^th HENU "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Final) was held in Jinming Campus on May 31. The competition was broadcast online, attracting over 8,000 viewers.

The competition had a registration of a total of 2,197 projects from 35 teaching units, among which 45 items were selected out to go to finals. The projects related to hot button issues of medicine and health, agriculture, energy conservation and emission reduction, and artificial intelligence.

The special prizes went to An Efficient Automation System for the Research and Development of Emergency Vaccine by Weishi Xue from the School of Life Sciences, Research of Holistic Education in Study Trips by Yuanhan Xie from the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and New Catering Model Integrating Central Plains Culture by Jingyi Yin from the Eurasia International School. The first prizes were awarded to the 5 projects from the School of Marxism, the Institute of Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development, the School of Physics and Electronics, the School of Clinical Medicine and the School of Software. The second prizes were given to the 10 projects from units like the School of Journalism and Communication, the School of Economics, and the School of Materials.

At the award ceremony, Vice President Shuxia Feng congratulated the winners and showed sincere thanks to their instructors. She expressed that this competition would play an active role in the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Henan University, and greatly improve students' innovative and entrepreneurial ability.
