In celebratation of the 53^rd Earth Day, Henan University (HENU) host a series of activities themed “Life of Earth” on April 22, 2022.

Students and faculty members enjoyed a special day of activities from photo exhibition, poem recitation, Tai Chi performance, huge environmental protection handbook display, signature wall, Dongying Natural History Museum exploration and planetarium field trip, which rendered teachers and students a better understanding of environmental protection. These activities were also live-streamed and got more than 100,000 "likes", showing an important role the university plays in raising public awareness of environmental protection.

The celebration of Earth Day 2022 will last from March to June. During the period, the university will launch a series of featured activities and events ranging from volunteer tree planting, photo solicitation, knowledge-sharing for environmental protection to environmental protection essay solicitation, in order to further help share knowledge of environmental protection and raise the public awareness of ecological civilization.
