The Cooperation Agreement signing ceremony between Henan University (HENU) and Municipal Government of Puyang City was held at Puyang Ambassador Hotel on the morning of April 6^th. Keping Lu, Party Committee Secretary of HENU, Zhen Tan, Gongqi Sun and Shuxia Feng, Vice Presidents of the university, attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Guangqing Yu, deputy secretary of Puyang Municipal Party Committee.

At the ceremony, Keping Lu, and Qingjiu Yang, secretary of the Puyang Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches. Continuing Lu and Yang, Zhen Tan, and Zhengfeng Wan, mayor of Puyang signed the agreement.

This agreement deals with six issues, which are, first on improving the school-running level of Puyang Vocational and Technical College, second on co-founding HENU-Puyang Research Institute, third on co-founding Longzihu Smart Energy and Materials Laboratory, fourth on jointly training postgraduate students and fifth on building Industry-Academia-Research-Application Cooperation Mechanism, and sixth on establishing a mechanism for mutual exchanges between high-level talents. The signing of the agreement aimed to promote the joint talent training and regional collaborative innovation, which serves to help realize the economic transformation in Puyang City and create a win-win situation between HENU and Puyang City.
