Recently, a good news in Overseas High-Level Talent Introduction Program came from Henan International Joint Laboratory for Nuclear Protein Regulation, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Henan University College of Medicine (hereinafter called the ‘PCNP Lab’) once again. Professor Jifeng YU, a Chinese-American scientist, introduced by PCNP Lab under the sponsorship of Overseas High-Level Talent Introduction Program, Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2019, published an article in Journal of Hematology and Oncology. This journal is one of the top journals in the field of cancer, with an impact factor (IF) of 17.388. Henan University is one of institutions for corresponding authors.

It is reported that people from PCNP Lab put a high value on international resources usage and developed international cooperation actively. Professor Xinying JI, the head of PCNP Lab, was granted two projects from Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology’s cultivation projects named Overseas High-Level Talent Introduction Program in 2019. The two projects are "The role and mechanism of nuclear protein PCNP in the occurrence of neurological diseases" and "Research and development of nuclear protein PCNP detection kits". Prof. Xinying JI also got two cultivation projects named International Cooperation Platform for Nuclear Protein Molecular Pathology from Henan University and Outstanding Foreign Scientist Studio in Henan International Joint Laboratory for Nuclear Protein Regulation. With the strong support of funds from the above projects, PCNP Lab had various scientific research cooperation with multiple foreign experts, especially with Prof. Jifeng YU. After being employed, YU has visited the laboratory several times for guidance and gave academic reports to teachers and students. On September 7, 2020, he made a report on "The Clinical Significance of AML Gene Mutations", and systematically introduced the application research of FLT3, NPM1, TP53 and other gene mutations and their clinical significance in prognosis.

At the Annual Meeting of the Henan Provincial Society of Immunology and the General Meeting of the Henan Provincial Infection and Molecular Immunology Professional Committee on December 20, 2020, YU gave another presentation entitled "The selection of IgG subclasses plays an important role in the development of anti-tumor therapeutic antibodies".

In the future, PCNP Lab will be relied on domestic and international resources to accelerate the accumulation of its own strength and give full play to the expertise of foreign scientists, and do a good job in joint project declaration, joint talent training, joint platform construction, shared results, and international academic exchanges, and to strive to publish more cooperation achievements in top journals and make greater contributions to the internationalization of medical schools.
