On October 15, Martin Walley, Deputy Consul General of the British Consulate-General in Wuhan, visited Henan University accompanied by Bing LI, Foreign Affairs Office of People’s Government of Henan Province, Shufen ZHAO, Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Kaifeng Municipal Committee and Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Kaifeng Municipal People’s Government, and leaders from the International Affairs Office and Wushu College of Henan University.

Liqun MAO, Director of the International Affairs Office, introduced the history and the basic facts of the University to the guests and showed them around the Minglun campus. And they watched the students' performance in Wushu College. Martin Walley expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and highly praised the building architecture in Minglun campus. In addition, he expressed the wish to promote the cooperation between Henan University and British universities.
