Biblical Literature Studies, sponsored by the Biblical Literature Research Institute, Chinese Language and Literature of HENU, is included in CSSCI recently.

Biblical Literature Studies, founded by LIANG Gong in 2007, is the only Chinese academic journal focusing on the studies of Bible. The primary orientation of the journal is Biblical academic research in the context of Chinese language. The biblical academic research is based on Chinese knowledge, ideology, culture and text resources, so as to enrich Chinese academic research and also make unique contributions to international biblical research.

The Chinese Social Citation Index (CSSCI) covers over 500 scholarly Chinese journals in the humanities and social sciences. CSSCI provides an efficient tool for people to obtain information about Chinese social science research. Its CD-ROM disks have been manufactured and a Web site has been set up for people to search for information about it. In this article the authors introduce the goals, significance and functions of CSSCI and a detailed explanation of the data structure and the direction of data flow is provided.
