On April 19, Guo Weixun, Director of the Economic and Trade Office of the HKSAR Government in Wuhan, Kaifeng Municipal Government Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office visited HENU.

Guo Weixun was briefed about the history of HENU and the situation of exchanges between HENU and Hong Kong universities. He hoped that the Economic and Trade Office of the HKSAR Government in Wuhan would actively build a bridge and platform for exchanges between the universities in Mainland and Hongkong, and HENU could further strengthen cooperation with Hong Kong universities.
