Recently, Liu Xiaomeng, an outstanding undergraduate of 2016 Mingde Experimental Class, College of Environment and Planning, published a research paper Effects of natural and anthropogenic factors and their interactions on dust events in Northern China in CATENA as the first author. CATENA is a renowned international journal in the field of geology, and Liu finished this research under the guidance of Associate Professor Song Hongquan.
CATENA enjoys an international reputation in the fields of soil science, water resources and earth science, ranking 4th among 142 journals in Earth and Planetary Sciences, with an impact factor of 4.333 in 2020.
Liu Xiaomeng, a 2020 graduate of Henan University, is the first author and Song Hongquan, Associate Professor of Henan University, is the corresponding author. This research is also supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
