The final of 2020 AIIA Cup Artificial Intelligence University Students Application Innovation Competition was held in Zhengzhou on November 27. Two teams under the guidance of Pang Zhifeng from the School of Mathematics and Statistics of HENU won a second prize and a  winning prize respectively.

Focusing on typical scenarios in the direction of electricity and energy, the competition invited teams of university students and teachers to participate in the artificial intelligence "Algorithm Modeling Competition". Since its launch on September 21, more than 100 teams and hundreds of participants had registered for the competition. The competition lasted for 68 days, and after the preliminary rounds, over 10 teams from universities at home and abroad, including Henan University, advanced to the finals. In the final, there were one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and six winning prizes.
