From November 21st to 22nd, the 6th Henan Province University Student Architectural Model Competition was held in Henan University.

Xie Wei, Vice Chairman of the Henan Civil and Architectural Society, said that this competition could increase the promotion rate and application of BIM technology in Henan colleges and universities, and hoped that students could apply what they have learned and put them into practice.

Kan Yunchao, Vice President of Henan University and Vice Chairman of Henan Association for Science and Technology,welcomed all leaders, assessment experts, and participating teachers and students, and hoped that the participating teachers and students from colleges and universities could fully demonstrate themselves with this competition as a platform and work together to make contributions in speeding up the informatization process China’s construction industry.

Professor Chen Si, Director of Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning of Kaifeng, hoped that university students could follow the trend of social development and continuously improve their ability to innovate themselves.

This competition finally selected 3 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 9 third prizes, and 5 finalists awards. 4 projects from Henan University were all awarded, two of which won the first prize and the other two won the second prize. Henan University and Henan Polytechnic University won the Outstanding Organization Award of this competition.
