On November 5th, a group of 4 people including Grzegorz SLUSARZ, vice president of the University of Jeshuf in Poland, and Marek CIERPIAL-WOLAN, director of the Bureau of Statistics of Rzeszów visited HENU. HENU Party Committee member and vice president SUN Junjian met with the guests in the conference room of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of HENU Minglun Campus.

SUN Junjian warmly welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the history, discipline characteristics and development of internationalization of HENU. He said that Poland was one of the important countries along the Belt and Road Initiative and the academic cooperation and exchanges between HENU and Poland universities were promising. SUN Junjian hoped that substantive cooperation between the two universities would be carried out as soon as possible, contributing to academic exchanges between teachers and students.

Grzegorz SLUSARZ expressed his appreciation for the achievements of HENU and briefly introduced the relevant situation of University of Rzeszów. He hoped to establish a formal cooperative relationship with HENU, carry out in-depth discussions around the intentions of cooperation, implement the details of cooperation project as soon as possible, and promote the common development of the two universities.

The two universities signed an agreement on academic cooperation and exchange at the meeting, and conducted in-depth discussions on scientific research cooperation, teacher assignment, student exchange, 2 + 2 cooperative school-running project, the construction of Chinese Language Training Center, etc.
