On June 18, Clarivate officially released the 2024 Journal Impact Factors. Exploration, a comprehensive English-language journal co-published by Henan University (HENU) and the Nanobiology Academic Subgroup of Biophysical Society of China, achieved an initial official impact factor of 22.5, ranking 5th among global comprehensive journals.
According to the released data, Exploration ranked 5th out of 135 in the category of Multidisciplinary Sciences, 6th out of 147 in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, and 16th out of 460 in Materials Science. All categories place the journal within the global top 4%, signifying its ascent to a new benchmark in global comprehensiveness and international recognition. This milestone represents another significant achievement in HENU’s “Double First-Class” initiative.
Exploration was launched through the initiative of Professor Bing Yang’s research team at HENU’s School of Life Sciences. Adhering to the editorial philosophy of “global excellence with Central China characteristics”, the journal focuses on interdisciplinary exploration and cross-boundary innovation dissemination. It aims to establish itself as a premier international multidisciplinary academic journal with Chinese characteristics, rooted domestically while engaging globally.
