From July 22 to 23, the 10^th Central China Psychology Academic Exchange Conference was held with the theme of “Studying the Laws of Psychology and Supporting the Development of Society”. The Conference was attended by a total of more than 300 people, including Shaokang Xu, vice president of HENU, Huashan Liu, honorary chairman of the Central China Psychology Academic Exchange Conference, and directors of the psychological associations in Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Shanxi, and Henan provinces.

At the Conference, Shaokang Xu delivered a welcome speech and briefly introduced development and current situation of psychology at HENU. Huashan Liu praised the achievements made in psychology research in the six provinces of central China in recent years. He hoped that the experts and representatives participating in the meeting could have a full discussion, and wished the meeting a complete success.

Lasting for 2 days, the Conference included 4 invited reports, 7 key reports, 1 master forum, 7 youth special reports and 1 special report, all of which offered a deeper exploration of frontier issues in psychology.

At the closing ceremony, Zongkui Zhou, chairman of the Hubei Provincial Psychological Society, and Guoxiang Zhao, the chairman of the Chinese Psychological Society, delivered speeches successively, hoping that all participants could have more in-depth and substantive cooperation in the future to promote the development of psychology and better serve the society.
