From July 21 to 22, the Academic Conference on New Progress in Intelligent Nursing and Stroke Health Management Model was held in Kaifeng, Henan. The opening ceremony invited Zhengming Huang, honorary president of China Medicine Education Association, Daxiang Cui, vice president of Henan University (HENU) and dean of Henan Medical School, and Yan Lou, vice president of China Medicine Education Association, to attend and deliver speeches.

The opening ceremony was held on the morning of July 22. At the ceremony, Zhengming Huang congratulated the convening of this meeting and gave opinions on the work of the Intelligent Nursing Professional Branch of the China Medicine Education Association. Daxiang Cui briefly introduced the basic situation of HENU and the development of medical education and nursing at HENU. He hoped that all representatives could fully share experiences and promote the development of intelligent nursing in both research and practice. Yan Lou hoped that all representatives could strengthen exchanges and cooperation and make greater contributions to promoting the integration of intelligent technology and industry and sustainable development. Ruiling Li, head of the School of Nursing and Health of HENU, said that she would focus on playing a role of demonstration and leading to better serve clinics and patients.

After the ceremony, experts including Yan Lou, Ying Wu, dean of the School of Nursing of Capital Medical University and Siyuan Tang, dean of Xiangya School of Nursing of Central South University, made reports titled "The Current Situation, Problems and Application of Intelligent Medicine", "The Present Situation and Prospect of Artificial Intelligence in Nursing", and "The Current Situation, Problems and Trends of Nursing".

On the afternoon of July 22, workshops on intelligent nursing and stroke health management were held. Zhichang Zhang, director of the China Medicine Education Association, Chongqing Shi, director of the Nursing Department of School of Medicine of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Jing Gao, dean of the Nursing School of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and many other experts shared opinions on the application of knowledge graphs, the exploration and application status of the "Internet + Nursing Continuation Service" model, and the application of rehabilitation training robots in the field of stroke.
