From May 12 to May 15, the 7^th China University Rowing Championships & 31^st FISU World University Games (Summer) - Rowing Selection Competition and the 4^th Shenyang International Youth Rowing Invitational Tournament were held on the Hunhe River in Shenyang.

The participants included hundreds of rowing elites and more than 20 rowing team from 16 universities in China like Peking University, Zhejiang University and Tongji University. After four days of competition, the rowing team from Henan University won the gold medal of the men's Group D Coxed Eight, the gold medal of the women's Group D Coxed Eight, the silver medal of the men's Group A Single Sculls, the fourth place of the men's Group D Quadruple Sculls, the fifth place of the women's Group D Single Sculls, the fifth place of the women's Group D Double Sculls, the sixth place of the men's Group D Double Sculls, and the champion of the Indoor Rowing Challenge.
