On April 9, the Semi-final of the 9th Huawei Software Elite Challenge was officially held. Twelve undergraduates and postgraduates altogether from the School of Artificial Intelligence formed 4 teams to join in the competition as members of the top 32 in the Northwest Division. They competed with other 256 teams from eight other regional divisions and finally won the second prize.
It is reported that the competition attracted players from 645 universities in China. Students joining in the competition are from more than ten countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The competition problems were the abstracted realistic business of HUAWEI CLOUD intelligent robots. Given the running environment of multiple robots and the status information of real robots, participants were required to control the robots to complete specific tasks by code, so as to maximize revenue.
