From March 31 to April 5, the 2022 Henan Provincial Martial Arts Championship for College Students (Group C and Group D) was held in Anlu City, Hubei Province, hosted by the Federation of University Sports of China and Anlu Municipal People's Government and organized by the Xiaogan Hongji Sports Art School. The competition attracted more than 900 athletes from 77 teams in 67 universities around China to join in.

In the competition, students from Henan University won a total of 11 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 8 bronze medals in individual events under the leadership of Hao Hong, Bo Sun and Shuai Cao. In addition, they won the first place in the total score of the Women's Group C (A), the fourth place in the total score of the Men's Group D, and the sixth place in the total score of the women's Group D.
