On February 28, the Sanya Institute and Hainan Nongken Nanfan Industry Group signed a scientific and technological cooperation framework agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by Zhiquan Li, chairman of Hainan Nongken Nanfan Industry Group, along with General Manager Jiang Xu, Deputy General Manager Guiming Deng, as well as Xuelu Wang, vice president of HENU and dean of Sanya Institute, Hengbing Wang, executive dean of Sanya Institute, and Zhe Chen, vice dean of Sanya Institute. Hengbing Wang and Jiang Xu signed the scientific and technological cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties.

Zhiquan Li briefly introduced the situation of Hainan Nongken Nanfan Industry Group in terms of its operation, development, and future planning, as well as the progress of the ongoing scientific and technological cooperation project in the seed industry. He wished that the establishment of scientific research projects, scientific research funds, and crop variety promotion events would broaden the cooperation, improve the collaboration, and establish a close partnership.

Xuelu Wang introduced the basic situation of the Sanya Institute and the scientific research in biological nitrogen fixation and leguminous biology. He hoped that the two sides would jointly build and share the modern southern feed base for scientific research and innovation, the high-level talent introduction base, the high-level scientific research achievement output base, the high-tech achievement transformation and business incubation base, and the scientific research talent training base.

In the near future, the two parties will take steps to advance the construction of the southern feed base and work related to scientific research, personnel training, achievement transformation and laboratory construction by following the scientific and technological cooperation framework agreement.
