Henan University cordially invites outstanding young talents at home and abroad to participate in the 4th International Forum of Henan University for Outstanding Postdoctoral Young Scholars.
Organizer
Henan University (HENU) is a national "Double First-Class" university co-sponsored by Henan provincial government and Ministry of Education. The university comprised of Minglun Campus, Jinming Campus and Zhengzhou Longzihu Campus, covering around 5,500 acres.
As a comprehensive university with 12 academic fields of study covering Humanities, History, Philosophy, Economy, Management, Law, Science, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Education and Arts. Henan University has 37 schools and departments, 43 First-Level Disciplines for Master's Degree Granting and 20 First-Level Disciplines for Doctoral Degree Granting. HENU has a number of advantageous disciplines, among which Biology is selected as a “Double First-Class” initiative discipline in China, and 6 first-level disciplines, including Chemistry, Material Science, Clinical Medicine, Engineering, Botany & Zoology, Pharmacology & Toxicology, have entered the top 1% of ESI world ranking.
HENU has 7 national key scientific research platforms, namely the State Key Laboratory of Cotton Biology, State Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Adaptation and Improvement, National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Applied Technology of Hybrid Nanomaterials, National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for High-Efficiency Display and Lighting Technology, Henan University Joint National Laboratory for Antibody Drug Engineering, National R&D Center for Edible Fungus Processing Technology, and Henan Dabie Mountain Field Observation and Research Station of Forest Ecosystem. HENU is also home to 5 key scientific research platforms of the Ministry of Education, 1 collaborative innovation center co-sponsored by Ministry of Education and Henan provincial government, 1 engineering research center of the Ministry of Education, 4 provincial collaborative innovation centers and 5 teaching and scientific research bases at national level.
Forum
The forum will be held online and offline on June 26th, 2021, by HENU. In the form of symposiums and academic seminars, experts and young scholars both inland and overseas are welcomed to discuss topical issues over the international academic frontiers. This is to promote interdisciplinary exchanges and research cooperation, to encourage visiting scholars to establish substantive connections and cooperation with relevant colleges and disciplines of Henan University, and lastly to attract a number of talents and to promote the development of the “Double First-Class” university. According to requirements for epidemic prevention and control, international scholars can only attend the forum online.
This forum is also part of the 4th Henan Province Talent Recruitment and Project Matchmaking Event for Innovation and Development. Young scholars participating in this forum will also be invited to attend on-site Talent Recruitment and Project Matchmaking Event for Innovation and Development on October 23rd, 2021.

Conditions for participation
Participants qualified for the forum shall
- Be under the age of 40;
- Have obtained a Ph.D. degree ( or will obtain a Ph.D. degree in 6 months), and show good academic achievements and innovative thinking and the potential to develop into leading scholars in their own academic disciplines;
- Uphold professional ethics, values and standards on academic performance.
Registration
1.Scholars eligible for participation shall send the registration form (Annex 1), resume and the most influential academic papers to henurs@163.com before June 18th, 2021.
2.An invitation letter will be sent to qualified scholars before June 19th, 2021.
3.The invited scholars shall fill in the receipt form before June 21st, 2021.

Transportation & Accommodation
- Domestic scholars
The scholars shall book travel tickets on their own. Reimbursement for transportation expenses (economy class flight tickets and second-class train tickets) can be requested with a proof of flight or train tickets.
Accommodation during the forum will be arranged by the organizer (free of charge).
- Overseas scholars
Affected by the epidemic, all overseas scholars invited to this forum shall participate online.
