Henan University, founded in 1912, was formerly known as “the Preparatory School for Further Study in Europe and America”. It is not only a “Double First-class” university but also a Co-constructing University by Province and the MOST. Now, the university consists of 3 campuses which are Minglun Campus, Jinming Campus and Longzi Lake Campus, with the former two being situated in Kaifeng and the latter in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan, covering a total area of 2,200,000 square meters. It is noteworthy that the modern architectural complex within the Minglun Campus is a key cultural heritage site under state protection.
