Recently, the China Association of Higher Education announced the list of Chinese member universities in the China–Africa Universities 100 Cooperation Plan and the China–Africa Consortium of Universities Exchange Mechanism. HENU was selected as a member institution in the field of agricultural development under this cooperation plan.

The China–Africa Consortium of Universities Exchange Mechanism is an unofficial mechanism established by China Association of Higher Education (CAHE) and Association of African Universities (AAU) based on the Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing a Partnership between the two sides. The mechanism aims to deepen exchanges and cooperation between universities in China and Africa and provides a platform for building a China–Africa community with a shared future.

This selection is of great significance to HENU. Seizing this opportunity, the University will actively leverage its strengths in agricultural development to engage in exchanges and cooperation with African universities. Together, we will promote the prosperity and development of higher education in China and Africa and contribute wisdom and strength to the building of a closer China–Africa community with a shared future.
