On the morning of April 15th, the Micro-Nano Photonics Symposium was held in the Conical Lecture Hall of Jinming campus. Yuchen Miao, Vice President of Henan University, attended the opening ceremony. Industry experts and scholars, including Academician Shiyao Zhu from the Department of Mathematics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professors Jian Zi and Lei Shi of Fudan University, were invited. The symposium was presided over by Ke Chen, Executive Dean of the School of Future Technology.
Yuchen Miao expressed his welcome and gratitude to all the experts and scholars present. He pointed out that Henan University has been committed to research and development in photonics, and hoped to further enhance the communication and cooperation with domestic and international peers through this symposium, to jointly promote the development of micro-nano photonics.
Academician Shiyao Zhu stated that through this symposium, the School of Future Technology can further strengthen the integration of micro-nano optics and quantum materials based on its nationally leading growth and testing equipment for quantum materials and make more effort to carry out scientific and technological innovation and technological breakthroughs, so as to make a greater contribution to the cause of scientific and technological innovation of China.
After the ceremony, the attending experts delivered special reports respectively around the latest research findings and development trends in the micro-nano photonics field.
