On March 29, the video conference between Henan University and Lomonosov Moscow State University was held in Jinming Campus. The conference was attended by Yuri A. Mazei, vice president of Lomonosov Moscow State University, experts from the Department of Biology and the Department of Geography, Shan Cui, president of the Russian-Chinese Foundation for the Development of Culture and Education, along with relevant responsible personnel. The conference also invited Shenglei Fu, vice president of HENU, as well as heads and experts from the International Affairs Office, the School of Geography and Environmental Science, the School of Life Sciences, and the Eurasia International School to attend. The meeting was presided over by Liqun Mao, director of the International Affairs Office of HENU.
At the meeting, Shenglei Fu introduced the basic situation and discipline advantages of HENU. He expressed his wishes that the two universities could further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the fields biology, geography and ecology. It was hoped that the joint training of graduate students, joint research, and exchange between teachers and students could be carried out.
Yuri A. Mazei said that the two universities had reached long-term cooperation and exchanges. He hoped that the two sides would further expand cooperation and carry out different forms of cooperation in the fields of biology, geography and ecology.
At the conference, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation in disciplines like geography and ecology. The two parties also reached cooperation intentions in carrying out double degree postgraduate programs, short-term training programs for students, and joint research in the field of soil ecology.
