Recently, the People's Government of Henan Province has announced the winners of 2022 Henan Science and Technology Awards. According to the announcement, Henan University was given a total of 10 Henan Science and Technology Awards, including 1 first prize, 3 second prizes and 6 third prizes.

The report The Impact of Different Forest Management Measures on Soil Organisms and Carbon and Nitrogen Dynamics issued by Professor Shenglei Fu was given the first prize of the Natural Science Award. The report was to study the impact of different management measures of South Asian tropical plantations on soil organisms and the regulated carbon and nitrogen dynamics. It evaluates the rationality of different forest management measures from the perspective of the ecological and environmental effect of soil, so as to provide scientific basis for future sustainable management of forest. The teams guided by Xianyu Zuo, Jianwei Zhang and Qin Li won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award for their basic theory and application breakthroughs in high-efficiency processing of independent data, terrain monitoring and prevention and control, and the development and utilization of new varieties. The team guided by Hao Deng and the other five teams won the third prize.
