The CCS 10th Frontiers Forum on Crystal Materials Chemistry Held in HENU



The CCS 10th Frontiers Forum on Crystal Materials Chemistry took place in Kaifeng, Henan Province from 13-16 July. Many distinguished guests were invited to attend the forum, including Yitai Qian, academician of the University of Science and Technology of China, Xiaoming Chen, director of the Academic Committee and academician of Sun Yat-sen University, Yuliang Li, academician of the Institute of Chemistry of CAS, Shuhong Yu, academician of the University of Science and Technology of China, Xianhe Bu, director of the Professional Committee of the Crystal Chemistry of CCS, dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Nankai University, Professor Rong Chen, former director of the Department of Chemistry of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Shaokang Xu, vice president of HENU. Other invitees also include experts and scholars across the country who are engaged in research on crystal materials and faculty members from Henan University the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.


The forum is composed of 5 conference reports, 12 theme reports, and 28 invitation reports, with Academician Maochun Hong and Academician Xianhe Bu as the chairmen, and Academician Xiaoming Chen as the director of the Academic Committee. More than 200 guests participated in the forum, including front-line scientists, well-known experts, young and middle-aged scholars, and postgraduate students engaging in related research in universities and institutes across the country. They showed the latest achievements in crystal materials chemistry research these years and expressed their expectations for the development of related interdisciplinary disciplines.
