In March 2022, Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. officially released the list of excellent test sites for 2021 HSK Test – Chinese language examination for international students. Henan University (HENU) was on the list as an excellent test site jointly built by Henan University and the University of the Aegean, Greece.

Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. reached an agreement with the University of the Aegean and HENU, to jointly organize the HSK test in early 2021. Since then, HENU has organized three HSK tests online. The online Chinese courses launched by the University of the Aegean and HENU are approved as one of the first online platforms for Chinese learning in the world.
