This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On this occasion, HENU Youth Song Festival was held in Zhiyi Stadium of Jinming Campus on the evening of June 5th, 2021.

HENU leaders including LU Keping, TAN Zhen, ZHANG Baoming, KAN Yunchao, SUN Gongqi, YANG Chaoyang and FENG Shuxia, and heads of relevant functional departments and teaching units presented at the concert.

The concert had three themes: "Youth & Distance", "Red & Imprint", and "Hope & Field". High-spirited dance "Youth" performed by the X-Tale hip-hop association kicked off the concert, which was continued with WANG Jiaojiao’s unique national vocal in the song "Azalea". The second theme was highlighted by a national-opera-like "Embroidering the Red Flag" performed by WANG Daqi, HAN Ye and others. The concert was then embraced with "hope" by award-winning "The Yellow River Water from the Sky" by students of the School of Journalism and Communication, "I Love You, China" sang by Abel, a foreign student and "In The Bright Sunshine" by The Zhishan Chorus. All these performances together with warm responses from the audience heat up stage.
